Tunable guided waves in a soft phononic crystal with a line defect

چکیده
Defects in phononic crystals may induce localized states and therefore can serve as microcavities, waveguides, or perfect mirrors. In this article, we numerically experimentally investigate the deformation behavior wave propagation characteristics of a defected crystal, which consists soft porous matrix hard inclusions along with line defect that is introduced designedly. Static dynamic appear due to presence defect. The results show crystal control guided waves by harnessing uniaxial compression, paves new way design tunable elastic waveguides.
